  • The ICE Education Committee was charged with
    researching the development of an education
    program for billing and collection professionals.

Historical Background
  • Idea took shape at annual conference in New
    Orleans while operating under the ISO affiliation
  • ISO completed preliminary research surrounding
    the viability of partnering with AICPCU and other
    industry vendors
  • Cost was prohibitive and the limited number of
    potential learners did not support the expense
  • After affiliation with ISO was severed, ICE
    Education Committee was formed at 2005 annual
    conference

ICE Committee Work
  • Research was completed (February through May
    2006)
  • Requirements were drafted for certification and
    associate programs
  • Member survey was administered in May 2006
  • Changes to draft were completed in June 2006
  • Presentation to annual conference in October 2006
  • Goal Institute programs in January 2007
