• Did you know the oystercatcher has black
  feathers? Except for on the belly. It looks evil
  it has red eyes and a red beak . Remember it has
  pink legs. There shy of humans.

Habitat

• The oystercatcher loves sandy beaches and mud
  flats. It likes to stand on rocks. They live in
  costal areas rocky or shingle coast lines.

Feeding

• The oystercatcher eats bivalve mollusks,
  insects It eats worms yuck! It finds it food by
  seeing or puts its beak in the mud.

Breeding

• Sometime between Oct to Jan in the sand earlier
  in the northern Australia 2 at a time. The egg
  even blends in with the sand.
