• Call for vote sent out 16th of July
• Vote to accept Dr. Gordon England as Interim
  Pastor at Special Business Meeting on July 26th

Process

• Received information on the Englands from church
  member
• Two conference calls made
• Pastor and Deacons met to identify need /
  opportunity
• After last conference call and after time in
  prayer, Pastor and Deacons unanimously agreed
  that this is an excellent opportunity for extra
  support for NSBC, especially during Christmas
  Holiday

Dr. Gordon England(wife Karen)

• BME, MA and EdD Degree from University of Denver
  and University of Northern Colorado
• Missionary to the Phillippines for 8 years
• Senior Pastor, Calvary E-Free, Broomfield, CO for
  16 years
• Director of Evangelism, Prayer and Strategic
  Alliances, Promise Keepers for 14 years
• Currently on Pastoral Staff at Crossroads Church,
  Colorado
• Other experience teaching, mentoring,
  discipleship, music, radio/TV, fundraising

• Youth Ministry
• Administrative Assistant
• Missionary Educator/Speaker
• Public/private school teaching
• Preventative Health and Physical Fitness
• Two children Joel (with the Lord) and Jodi
  missionary to Indonesia
• Two grand-children Anna and Alex

Duties while at NSBC

• Timeframe Mid-October 09 to Mid-January 10
• Provide Support to NSBC which could include
  several of the following
• depending on the need / desire of NSBC
• Accomodate preaching needs, particularly in
  December and January
• Support Pum Za Chin and refugee outreach
• Mens Ministry support and specifically plans for
  an outreach / retreat event
• Counselling support
• Teaching support (eg. Adult Sunday School)
• Prepare / assist in evangelistic outreach
• Other areas of ministry (eg. music ministry,
  university outreach, inter-church relations,
  etc.)

Financial Cost to NSBC

• Interim Pastor will be volunteers due to lengthy
  work permit process
• Airfares, medical and travel insurance will be
  paid for by NSBC
• The Englands will stay in the downstairs
  apartment at the PMC at no cost
• One vehicle will be provided for transportation
• Utility bills including electricity, cable TV and
  phone bills will be paid by NSBC
• Fuel-costs will be refunded by NSBC
• Love offerings will be held to cover other living
  expenses
• Total cost to NSBC is expected to not exceed NOK
  30 000
