THE NEED

• Came out of the FPC2 Summits
• The desire for a long range plan- 20 yrs.
• Working on the shoulders of those who have
  labored for years here
• Pressing space needs- specifically in Classroom
  and Office space

CHARGE

• develop a 20 year strategy based on the
  assumptions that
• FPC will remain on the corner of Maple and N.
  Garden
• There will be no dramatic change to the church
  sanctuary.
• All spaces will be designed as multiple use
  spaces with the exception of the sanctuary.

HOPED FOR OUTCOME

• Present Session and then the Congregation in late
  Winter 09 with
• - conceptual Drawings
• - phases
• - preliminary timeline

KEY QUESTION

• What about 1019, 1015, 1011 N. Garden St.?
• We are looking into that-
• both apartment went on sale 10 years ago for
  500k
• We have sent a letter to all 3 owners, and we
  will follow up with a personal connection
• We have encouraged Session to form a committee
  that would be ready to purchase the houses if
  they come on the market.
