26ROCC Proctoring
- Proctored tests are allowed only on Mid-Term
and/or Final Exams. - Students are responsible for identifying an
appropriate proctor and setting up arrangements
for taking a test according to the noted
guidelines below - The Instructor has the right to approve all

28ROCC Faculty Mentors
- RODP Faculty Mentors are experienced faculty
members who have taught online in the RODP and
make themselves available to assist ROPD Faculty
Members in a wide variety of ways. - You will be assigned a RODP Faculty Member to
assist you throughout the course. Your mentor
will support you in preparing your class, sharing
best practices for online teaching and learning,
interacting and communicating with students,
adhering to timelines and due dates, etc.

arent having any problems they can help you

35Teaching Requirements

RODP Policies Guidelines)
- Initiate communication at least three times per
week with your students. - Faculty members are to serve as facilitators of
learning and motivators. - Respond to student e-mails within 48 hours.
- Respond to student discussion postings within 48
hours.

- Graded component of the course must be graded and
those grades posted within two weeks. - Instructors can not require synchronous student
interaction or assignments - Proctored tests are allowed only on Mid-Term
and/or Final Exams.

- Final grades must be posted according to the
deadline date posted on the ROCC website semester
calendar. If RODP Final grades are not posted by
the established date, instructors will be
required to submit a grade change form for every
student in their class. (See attachment for RODP
Grade Change Form and Procedures.) - The only acceptable grades in RODP are A, B, C,
D, F I (Incomplete). Instructors are not
allowed to use plus or minus ( / -) designations
with RODP grades.

remove content from a course they are teaching - Instructors may make minor modifications to
