• Living in the South during the winter is always a
  weather roller coaster. You are just as likely to
  have a 30-degree snow day as you are a 70-degree
  lake day! With this in mind, knowing the trails
  in your area is always a must.
• Meet East Lakeshore Trails! This local trail is
  both developed and maintained, in partnership
  with the TVA, by a dedicated group of volunteers
  organized by WATeR The Watershed Association of
  the Tellico Reservoir. Like most amenities in
  Tellico Village, East Lakeshore Trail also acts
  as a representation of this areas sense of
  community and environmental commitment.

• Open all winter, the trails are located along the
  east shore of Tellico Lake. The trail system
  measures at over 26 miles with 8 accessible
  branches. With an overall trail difficulty of
  easy to moderate, these trails are known for
  being quiet, having a large number of tree
  species and a view of the mountains.
