New WAOL Cost Model Approved
  • New model 4 per active user per quarter
    (unlimited use per user)
  • Starting Winter 09both Blackboard and ANGEL
    users
  • Active users determined on audit dates late in
    quarter colleges can create unlimited classrooms
    and accounts but be charged only for those that
    are active

  • Presidium 24 x 7 for all users. If Presidium
    staff cannot solve your problem they send an
    escalation ticket to Mark.  Then Mark works on
    the problem.  If he can't solve it, he reaches
    out to other WAOL staff or to ANGEL itself.
  • Calling Presidium also provides documentation
    that is sometimes necessary to solve technical
    problems.

Waivers for Shared Courses
  • Problem How does a college allow a tuition
    waiver for a shared online course? The college
    needs to pay the teaching college, and when is
    the section full?
  • Anybody have a good practice?

  • Enroll as audit?

Spring Intent to Teach Forms
  • Available now in instructors MyWAOL accounts
  • Default to college-determined dates
  • ELC can change dates before approving the ITT
    form
  • Defaults to ANGEL use for SpringIf you dont
    want your faculty to choose Blackboard, let them
    know.
  • Check forms before you approve for CMS and dates.

WAOL ANGEL Admin Kick-Off
  • Two identical sessions in
  • Thursday, February 5 from noon to 300 PST
  • Friday, February 6 from 900 to noon PST
  • WAOL and ANGEL staff will provide overview and
    group training, followed by
  • Online self-paced training
  • Individual college consultation with ANGEL
  • These must be scheduled through WAOL
  • Youll need to have your college domain first

  • Phase One July 08 through March 09
  • Everything currently supported by WAOL moved from
    Blackboard to ANGEL
  • Training focus on experienced Blackboard users
    who are moving to ANGEL
  • Continue to use existing WAOL processes (WAOL ID
    numbers, Intent to Teach forms, etc.) through
    Spring 09 for everyone
  • College admin access for non-student/classroom
