First Things First!

• Before inserting a picture you must do two
  things
• Decide what type of picture you want
• Decide where the picture should go

The Search Process

• Open up Internet Explorer
• Type in the web address or search engine address
• Enter the web address in the box labeled
  Address
• A search engine will find items for you. For
  example, try www.dogpile.com and enter clip art
  in the Fetch Box.

Picture Presentation

• Inserting the picture into the presentation
  varies with the type of site.
• If you find a picture on a site, you can try to
  right click on the image and copy/paste it into
  the document
• You can also select the picture for download

Downloading

• Click the in the small box next to a graphic that
  you like
• Go to the top of the page and select Download 1
  Clip
• Click Download Now
• Right Click on the picture once it has downloaded
  and select copy.
• Now paste it into the presentation.

• Please follow along with me on your computer.
• Open Internet Explorer
• Type in the address http//dgl.microsoft.com/
• Search for Cow

Look On Your Own!

• Search for clip art sites on your own and
  complete the worksheet.
• Once you have finished the worksheet you may
  work on your presentation.
