3GENERAL INFORMATION
- AMENITIES
- Tinker Golf Course offers its guests an
18-hole Championship Golf Course, practice
putting and chipping green, pitching green and
bunkers, and a driving range. The clubhouse
includes a well stocked Pro Shop, Grill and a
Gentlemens and Womens Lounge (both of which
include shower facilities). The complex is
managed in a relaxed country-club atmosphere
with hospitality remaining our first priority. - TOURNAMENT BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
- To schedule a first tee tournament, (a
block of tee times), a minimum of 32 players is
required. First tee format tournaments are
usually booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays
throughout the year. To schedule a shotgun
event, (all players commencing play at the same
time at different hole locations), a minimum of
100 players is required. Shotgun start
tournaments will begin at 730 A.M. or 100 P.M.
Shotgun events will not be scheduled on two
consecutive days. Shotgun events are normally
scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
There are no tournaments booked during the
weekends due to heavy play. However, the Golf
Course does play host to various annual
tournaments for its authorized players and their
guests. - TOURNAMENT REQUEST
- Upon making your tentative booking, a
Tournament Contract must be submitted to the Golf
Course Director. Upon receipt, our
Administration Office will return a confirmation
letter for your records. A Tournament Contract
must be submitted a minimum of 30 days in advance
of an event or the reservation will be dropped. - PAYMENT FOR GOLF COURSE SERVICES
- It is the responsibility of the tournament
chairman to collect all fees and charges for
his/her tournament in advance. Payment for all
golf course services, with the exception of
shotgun tournaments, is due the day of the
tournament. For shotgun tournaments payment of
the first 100 green fees is due five working days
prior to the scheduled event, with payment in
full for the remaining fees due the day of the
tournament. Failure to comply with the advance
shotgun start payment rule will result in the
cancellation of your event.
4GOLFING REQUIREMENTS
- RIDING GOLF CARTS
- Although riding golf carts are not
mandatory, we do highly recommend their use
particularly for shotgun tournaments. The use of
golf carts in shotgun tournaments will help to
organize your tournament by making the check in
and tournament start operate smoothly. Speed of
play is also helped by the use of golf carts. If
you would like the golf course staff to tag carts
with the names of tournament participants, please
provide us with a copy of names and starting
holes 48 hours prior to your event. Our staff
will be happy to tag your carts. As tournament
POC you are responsible for collecting cart fees
for your outing. - DRESS CODE

United States Air Force standards as specified in
AFI 36-2903. Base uniform regulations will
apply. - Â Appropriate golf attire will be worn at

playing, except that military personnel may
practice on the practice putting/chipping green
and driving range while in uniform. (Combat

green) - Â The following items of apparel are
prohibited T-shirts, undershirts, muscle
shirts, tank tops, cut-offs or pants with frayed
edges, athletic or gym shorts (any shorts without
pockets), sweat pants, swimming trunks and suits,
abbreviated shorts, halter tops and sets, bare
midriff suits and bikini type apparel. - Â Appropriate dress (proper golf attire) is
everyone's responsibility. A pride in personal
appearance and modesty is expected of authorized
participants and their guests. Shirts must be
worn at all times while on the course. No one
will be allowed on the golf course facility
(course, practice putting green, driving range,
etc.) as a player, observer or caddy while
wearing high-healed shoes, hiking or combat
boots, GI brogans, orthopedic foot casts, flip
