Breakout Question 1
  • Based on the current status of the Farm Bill in
    the House and Senate, prioritize the 5 most
    critical issues for the Experiment Station
    Section to be pushed with Congressional members
    and staff. Identify key individuals to involve
    in the process.

  • Given the complexity of identifying and
    validating issues for inclusion in the Farm
    Bill, recommend strategies on receiving input
    from all Sections in the Board on Agriculture
    Assembly. Indicate who has the
    authority/responsibility to verify which issues
    will be carried forward.
  • This will be important in this Farm Bill, but
    will be even more important in setting the
    framework for continuing work on this and similar
    legislation.
