- Husband works in aerospace manufacturing

- Eric is a C130 pilot in the Air Force
- Aly is a junior at UW, studying abroad in Sweden

3-ring notebook is highly recommended for
homework, worksheets and handout Graphing
calculators will be used throughout the course.
It is highly recommended that each student get
their own calculator for class. A limited number
of class calculators can be checked out for in
class use only ( Must trade in something)

6Class Rules
Respect No talking when someone else Is taking.
No Rude behavior. Respect other people and
Property! No cell phones keep put away. No
IPODS except during homework or with
permission No garbage. Recycle paper and bottles
7Attendance
- - Arrival after the bell rings is a tardy.
- You lose your daily points if you are tardy
- Arrival 10 minutes after the bell rings is an
absence. - A student exceeding 10 absences in a semester
will receive no credit for the class. - You have the number of days you are absent to
make up missed work. - It is the students responsibility to make up
work after being absent.
8 Grading
- Daily points (5)
- - Received for being on time,prepared, following
class rules and for daily warm ups. - If you are absent you may have to make up warm
ups to receive your daily points. - Warm ups are handed in EVERY Friday.
- Assignments (20)
- -Assignments are checked daily for completion
- -Every one to two weeks a random set of homework
problems are selected for homework checks. All
work must be shown and solutions correct. - - Projects assigned will be graded as homework
points. - - Weekly web activities are optional assignments
that get added to the homework grade (extra
credit)
9 Grading
- Quizzes (25)
- - Quizzes are given on a regular basis
throughout the semester. - - Quizzes missed due to excused absences can be
made up outside class time before the end of the
chapter. - Tests (50)
- -Tests are given at the end of every chapter. A
review will precede every test. - - Missed tests due to excused absences can be
made up before or after school. - One retake is allowed per test. The maximum
increase is two full letter grades. Ex. F ? C- or
C ? B- - Cheating in a test or quiz results in a 0 with
no retake possibility

11Miscellaneous
You need to wait until after lecture to sign out
for water, restroom, etc. Sign out is by door
you cant sign out if there is a name on the
board already. Take pass with you. Erase your
name when you get back. Help Before or after
