• Try outlining reading assignments as a way of
  maximizing your understanding and retention

• Dont take adequate notes

College

• Build a social networkmake friends, youll feel
  better about your new surroundings and being away
  from home.

  remembers everyone you meet. Find something to
  help you remember them when you first meet.
• Feel out your campusfind places for everything,
  studying, coffee shops, the perfect spot
  outsidemake some places home, youll be more
  comfortable.
• Create ritualsestablish familiarity through
  daily, weekly and monthly rituals.
• Remember what youre at school to do. You are
  here to learn. Take care of yourself, go
  to class, take plenty of vitamin C, and
  keep your immune system up and your
  mind alert.
