Dont Be Afraid

• PowerPoint is an easy program to use.
• You can have a great presentation just using the
  basics of the program.
• Students enjoy working with the program, use them
  to create your show.

What Can Be Done?

• Promote new books/programs within the library.
• Inform students, parents and teachers of library
  procedures.
• Inform audience of events that occurred during
  that particular day-week-month.

How Ive Used P.P.

• For Open Houses-I would detail information that I
  would not want to say a billion times.
• For morning broadcast-Before our actual news
  program comes on general information and fun
  information appeared on PowerPoint that
  continuously scrolled.

To Teach Basic Concepts

• Important information continually scrolled while
  I would lecture.
• While completing an assignment, basic terms and
  information would scroll for ease of assignment
  completion.

Ready? Lets Do It!

• All versions of PowerPoint work very similar.
  Newer versions have new tricks that speed up the
  process, but the basics stay the same.
• It is as simple as click inside a box and type.
  The pretty stuff can come later.
