1How classical books have affected our history...
2Introduction What determines a book a classic?
Most think it's the age of the book, but
that's not always the case. One thing is for
sure. Symbolism and theme are definitely
important factors!
3Quote A Short History of Nearly Everything
takes readers on a wonderful historic journey of
science during the 19th and 20th century. Books
go way back to 13.5 billion years ago when our
universe formed, forward to 5.5 billion years ago
when our planet Earth formed, then on to the
present through the eyes of physicists,
mathematicians, biologists, geologists,
geneticists... and all in a language that even
the most unscientific can understand and enjoy.
4Symbolism
- In some classics, color is often used to
represent or symbolize someones feelings.
5For example different colors on flowers are used
to represent various emotions.
Red Love and respect
6White Innocence, Secrecy
7Light Pink Grace, Joy
8Dark Pink Thankfulness
9Lavender Enchantment
10Yellow Friendship, Joy
11Orange Fascination
12Pale Peach Modesty
13Coral Destiny

subject of artistic representation, an implicit
or recurrent idea.

19- Some people say books are classics when they look
at the age and how yellowed the pages are. But
ask yourself this.
20- Does the book have symbolism?
21- Does it have more than one theme that gets you so
hooked so hooked, that you dont want to put it
down?
