5Accelerated Reader
- (aka AR)- This program provides computerized

which can be found in our library. Each student
is required to check out one AR book per week and
to take the AR test. - I will send home individual AR goals in January.
If your child exceeds them, great! - I will do AR testing on T-W-TH. I encourage your
child to read their book at least twice unless it
is a chapter book.
6Success Maker
- Success Maker is another wonderful computer
program your children have access to during the
school day. This program concentrates on math
and reading concepts. - Each student has their own Success Maker
account. Each time they log in, the computer
starts the review by asking questions that the
student previously missed. - This program is also a wonderful analysis tool
for teachers. Teachers can print out reports on
each student that details the students
approximate math and reading level, problem hot
spots, and length of time needed to answer each
question.
