Good Shepherd Lutheran Services has several
different entities

• Good Shepherd Lutheran Home
• Bremmer Suites Assisted Living

The Good Shepherd Lutheran Home

The Good Shepherd Lutheran Home was established
in 1965 to serve area residents who needed the
services of a Full-Time-Care Nursing facility.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Home

• The Good Shepherd Lutheran Home is a Primary Care
  Nursing Facility which has 75 resident beds. 61
  of these beds are in private rooms.
• Our Primary Nursing Care Program is designed to
  provide a resident centered approach to nursing
  care. Assigned staff assure trust and build sound
  relationships between residents, families and
  care providers. This program allows increased
  knowledge of resident care needs in their care
  group, better care plan utilization and ensured
  continuation of care for all residents.

Intergenerational activities are provided between
Good Shepherd Home residents and children in the
Child Care Department.

4th graders regularly visit their adopted
grandparents at Good Shepherd.

Area groups and individuals regularly provide
residents with enjoyable entertainment.

Many areas are provided around the facility for
gathering of residents, families and friends.

Areas are also set aside for worship and
spiritual enrichment. There are weekly Bible
studies and worship services.

Transportation services are available using Good
Shepherd cars or our handicapped accessible van.

Residents enjoy auto excursions provided by
volunteers.

We have interesting guests that visit us.

Bremmer Suites Assisted Living

• Bremmer Suites is a beautiful Assisted Living
  residence for seniors or the physically
  challenged. It offers people independent living
  on campus with support services. Bremmer Suites
  has 15 individual suites for single residents or
  couples. Suites feature kitchenettes, extra large
  bathrooms, 3 closets, a picture window and other
  amenities. Residents are served meals in our
  dining area, with a spacious parlor area for
  families and friends to gather. It provides a
  comfortable, safe, convenient and affordable
  place in a rural setting.

Bremmer Suites has spacious areas for dining and
for meetings of residents, families and friends.

Bremmer Suites 15 resident rooms have 410 square
feet of living space.

Good Shepherd Senior/Disabled Apartments

• Good Shepherd Senior/Disabled Apartments is a
  subsidized housing facility consisting of 32
  individual apartments providing independent
  living for seniors over 62 years of age or those
  with disabilities. All apartments have
  handicapped accessible bathrooms, a kitchenette
  with stove and refrigerator. Most utilities are
  paid except phone cable TV. The Apartment
  Community Center serves the Good Shepherd Campus
  as a hosting center as well as providing laundry
  services for apartment residents.

easy entry showering facilities.

apartment residents.

• Good Shepherds Child Care Service offers State
  Certified care for infants from 6 weeks old to 12
  year old school age children. Featuring four
  child care rooms for infants, toddlers,
  pre-schoolers and school age children. Meals,
  snacks, age appropriate activities and
  transportation to community and school events are
  provided. A nurturing environment provides
  individual attention to each child.

Supervised inside group activities provide time
for fun and social skill development.

Outside playgrounds and supervised activities
promote childrens physical growth and health.

Therapy Department

• Physical, Occupational , Speech and
  Rehabilitative therapy services are offered to
  our residents and area persons with a doctors
  referral. A convenient therapy area is located
  within the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home facility.

• The Good Shepherd Foundation assists in providing
  the necessary resources to ensure the continued
  excellence of care available to everyone we
  serve. We reach out to all parties interested in
  our mission, to help us provide the additional

  quality in health care, senior housing, child
  care and all our services.
