• What is involved in taking your technology and
  producing toolkits that are easily extensible to
  fusion groups not directly involved in the
  collaboratory and do you have plans for this?
  What about for groups who are outside the fusion
  community?
• There were at least four different collaboration
  technologies discussed during the day that are
  part of the project. What is your approach to
  consolidate these efforts?
• There seems to be significant overlap between
  ElVis and MDSplus access grid and the tile wall
  display ElVis and 2-D SciRun. Do you have plans
  to resolve this and how?
• In 18 months what will be available for general
  use by the fusion community? How will the final
  product be packaged? Is there a time at which
  the project effort will become focused on the
  delivery of a final product release? And who is
  the manager responsible for assuring this? Do
  you have plans for training materials? Tutorials?
• What is overall architecture for the project?
  Highlight the components and the data flows
  between the components. Indicate which data
  flows use grid protocols and which use other
  protocols. For those data flows that use grid
  protocols, give some sense of credentials.

• What is your planning process? your deliverables?
  Have you developed and documented use cases?
• MDSplus is core to the project. We support this
  but expect that it should evolve, especially when
  it comes to deploying this in an international
  environment. Given there is a large overlap with
  the MDSplus development team and this team, do
  you have plans to enhance MDSplus to make it more
  attractive to the larger community?
• In planning the project, did you take into
  account lessons learned from the DCEE project?
  If so, what?
• The proposal and working plan mentioned a number
  of codes to be included in the first year that
  were not discussed today. What is the status of
  including these?
• What are your plans for secure SQL (that was
  discussed in the plan)?
• For each group, please provide a bulleted list of
  efforts and deliverables supported by NFC.
• Over the next 18 months, what are your three
  highest priorities?
• Once this project is over, what would you imagine
  as the next steps, follow-on activity to maintain
  this effort and keep it going?
• Have you considered the barriers to entry for the
  larger fusion community (for example, small
  university groups) and what are you planning to
  lower these barriers?
