  UofA
• Provides support for high-quality well-refereed
  journals whose editorial offices are located at
  the UofA. Maximum of 2500 per journal in any
  one fiscal year Deadline March 15
• University Conference Fund
• Supports conferences and symposia (not Workshops)
  sponsored or hosted by the University within
  Alberta. Maximum award is 3,000
• Deadlines March 15, June 15, Sept 15, Dec 15

• A portion of salary can be directed towards
  support of an approved research program, allowing
  a tax break. Must not be on Sabbatical

• Sabbatical Research Grants

  support of an approved research program, allowing
  a tax break
• Deadline one month prior to beginning of
  sabbatical

• AHFMR-IAC Visiting Lecturer and PDF Recruitment
• The UofA administers a block grant from AHFMR
  through peer review, to fund short visits by
  prominent researchers in the medical, biomedical
  and health research areas. Also funds visits by
  PDFs to assist in recruiting outstanding PDFs to
  Alberta
• Deadline is the first Monday of each month

  available to the Small Faculties.
  Award does not exceed 5,000
