• English is an international language spoken in
  many countries of Africa, Europe and America it
  is the most popular language in the world today.
• And in order to provide knowledge and
  professional skills to meet the requirements and
  exigencies of the ever-changing business,
  professional and technological world and to help
  student to breaking language barrier AIESEC-UL
  in partnership with ELPC creates LAC (Language
  Academy).

• What is LAC ?
• LAC(LANGUAGE ACADEMY) is a Program initiated by
  AIESEC UL. Its mission is to train about 80
  students, in order to raise their level in
  English Language. And its vision is to give them
  the key to conquer language barriers and new
  doors of opportunity for going on exchange or
  study in English speaking countries.

The Objectives of LAC

• Raise the students level of English (An
  integration of speaking, reading, writing,
  listening, and grammar skills throughout English
  Learning).
• Help students to speak English fluently through a
  Conversation Program.
• To break language barriers and make it easier for
  students to go on exchange.
• To train 80 students (at least 30 AIESEC
  members).

THE ACTIVITIES OF LAC

• Main Activities
• Promotion (On the media, in the amphitheatre)
• Information session (with the participants)
• Recruitment (Recruitment of the participants)
• Interview (for the selection)
• Kick Off or Official Opening (in the presence of
  the medias, and Institutions)
• The Training (Reading lessons, Dictation,
  Grammar, Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Writing,
  Oral)
• Closing Ceremony
• Going on Exchange (the preparation of
  participants to travel in English-speaking
  countries)

THE STAGIES OF LAC

• 1-THE TRAINING
• There are 3 levels Beginners, Intermediaries,
  Advanced
• 2-THE PERIODE OF THE TRAINING
• 45 Hours at all level (Reading lessons,
  Dictation, Grammar, Pronunciation, Vocabulary,
  Writing, Oral)
• We need 4 trainers (or interns) 3 internationals
  and 1 national
• Before the training the Intern will spend two(2)
  WEEKS in Ghana at ELPC in order to have the
  necessary information on how English is teach in
  Africa and particularly in French-speaking
  countries.

Presentation of ELPC Breaking Language Barriers

• ELPC (Excellence Language and Professional
  Centre) is an institution devoted to breaking
  language communication barriers. It exists to
  provide quality, comprehension and demand driven
  language skills (English and French) in all
  professional, business and technological field of
  mans choice on the local front, in the
  sub-region and in the whole continent. ELPC would
  provide training and develop facilities to
  support the program. The program is designed for
  students, workers and businessmen and companies
  from English/French/Spanish speaking countries in
  Africa.
