• Take a piece of paper. Answer the following
• Name Major (Graduate student?)
• Home town/state (country)
• When do you expect to graduate?
• What do you plan to do then?
• What takes up your spare time (assuming you have
  any)?
• List one life ambition.

Operating Systems Projects

• Well do projects on (at least) two operating
  systems
• UNIX
• Windows NT
• You need to be familiar with both.
• Projects will usually involve writing a program
  to test something, then writing a short paper
  reporting what you learned.
