• Knowledge portal provides a single point of
  access to the tacit and explicit knowledge that
  support members of the institutions or
  organizations in all aspects of their learning,
  teaching, working, research and other activities.
• It offers various internal, external resources
  with other services which encompass and
  management of books, journals, databases,
  Web-sites, learning objects, library catalogue,
  email, forums, lesson learned, best practices and
  experiences of individual.
• It contains intelligent agent software to
  identify and automatically distribute information
  and knowledge effectively to knowledge workers
  based on knowledge profile
