Food They Eat

• They eat buffalo, nuts, and berries
• They stole food from other tribes and traded them
  for other good things.
• They hunt and look for other foods, like hunting
  for animals or looking through woods for berries
  and nuts.

How They Make Their Clothes

• They wear buffalo hides and deerskins.
• They would lay it out in the sun over two days
  and then it would come back and skin it. And then
  they would wash it with their guts. And then they
  would rinse it out in the river and use their
  bones to scarp off all of the dead skin. Finally,
  the shape their skin to a pattern.

Their Leader

• Their leader is Quanah Parker.
• He led the Quashadi Comanche.
• He led his tribe by following buffalo herds.

Their Home

• They live in tee-pees.
• The tee-pees are made out of cloth from animals
  they hunt.
• They have a small area where they cook, wash, and
  do other things.

Things They Used To Hunt

• They used horses to help them.
• They used spears to shoot fierce animals, such as
  buffalos, bears, and other animals they can use
  for clothes and for food.

• Thats why we love this tribe, even though they
  are not around anymore they are still very
  interesting to learn about.
