• Mat 27 62The next day, the one after
  Preparation Day, the chief priests and the
  Pharisees went to Pilate. 63"Sir," they said, "we
  remember that while he was still alive that
  deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise
  again.' 64So give the order for the tomb to be
  made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his
  disciples may come and steal the body and tell
  the people that he has been raised from the dead.
  This last deception will be worse than the
  first."  65"Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go,
  make the tomb as secure as you know how." 66So
  they went and made the tomb secure by putting a
  seal on the stone and posting the guard.

  be raised again.' " 8Then they remembered his
  words.

  'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you
  will see him, just as he told you.' "

  started for the tomb.

  news "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them
  that he had said these things to her.

  it.

  some of the guards went into the city and
  reported to the chief priests everything that had
  happened. 12When the chief priests had met with
  the elders and devised a plan, they gave the
  soldiers a large sum of money, 13telling them,
  "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the
  night and stole him away while we were asleep.'

  Jerusalem.

  burning within us while he talked with us on the
  road and opened the Scriptures to us?"
•  33They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem.
• Mark 1612-13  12Afterward Jesus appeared in a
  different form to two of them while they were
  walking in the country. 13These returned and
  reported it to the rest but they did not believe
  them either.

  my side. Stop doubting and believe."

  not seen and yet have believed."

Conclusion of the Gospels

• John 21 Restore Peter and gave him back his
  purpose.

• Luke 2445-53 51While he was blessing them, he
  left them and was taken up into heaven. 52Then
  they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with
  great joy. 53And they stayed continually at the
  temple, praising God.
• Mark 16
• -  19After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he
  was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right
  hand of God. 20Then the disciples went out and
  preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with
  them and confirmed his word by the signs that
  accompanied it.
