• PicoRadio no killer app, but we can learn useful
  things from it (how to design ultra-low power
  PLL, VCO etc.)
• Cognitive radio no killer app, but we can learn
  useful things from it (multi-carrier multi-band
  multi-modulation scheme PHY layer)

• Selling skills
• Most technical talks are mediocre to poor, bad
  slides
• Should train people do good presentation in good
  English
• We just develop the fundamental part startups
  should develop the application. Who bridges the
  gap?
• Probably the students

• Most hardware should be standard-based, to lower
  risks (especially in RF)
• Add datapoints in the power-throughput
  fractional bandwidth space
• Business knowledge students have no idea of
  things such as term sheet, stock options
