• Design a lesson that integrated technology
• Have students work in teams

• Design a rubric for culminating task
• Use a pre and post test to evaluate student
  achievement
• Design a lesson where students gain knowledge
  about elections and campaigning
• Gain technology skills

SHORTCOMINGS

• Not enough time!!!!
• Little access to Internet
• Some students did not show growth from pretest to
  post test
• High absentee rate makes group projects difficult

REFLECTIONS AND REVISIONS

• Allow more time for this lesson
• Find a way for more access to computers and
  Internet for students
• Require charts, graphs, pictures to be done using
  technology
• Use the computer to help absent students to catch
  up

CONCLUDING STATEMENT

• This entire process has made me grow as a teacher
  and a person. I have learned to use technology
  and not fear it. I will continue to work on
  developing my own technology skills and
  integrating technology into my classroom. It was
  very exciting and inspiring to collaborate with
  my colleagues and learn from them.
