3HISTORY
- Since 1878, NGAUS has provided the National Guard
with a powerful voice in Washington. In their
first meeting after the Civil War, militia
officers from the North and the South formed the
Association to petition Congress for better
equipment and training. - More than a century later with the backing of
nearly 45,000 members and other supporters
NGAUS continues that mission. -

- TRICARE!!! - after 7 years, we achieved our goal!
- Retained 350,000 ARNG Force Structure
- A variety of equipment earmarks 150M in NGREA
2.9B in equipment reset (some goes to USAR) - Directs DOA to report how they obligated funds
to the ARNG within 9 months - Authorizes Title 32 AGR Technicians to train
AD, foreign military, and DOD civilians and
perform operational missions if it doesnt
interfere with other duties - MILCON ARNG - 561M, ANG 294M
