• Entered into VOLUNTARY Alliance to address Ergo
  hazards
• June 2002

• Agreement signed in a week!
• WHY did we jump on board so quick?

• Previous Ergo regulation too costly and
  burdensome
• Guidelines lets us focus and resources on
  where the problems (injuries) occur
• Industry developed solutions w/OSHA oversite
• Avoids one size fits all approach
• Flexible
• Alliance Guidelines better than regulations
• Cooperation and assistance not enforcement

• One of the safest Mgf. Industries!!
• Printing wants to be safer and this is the best
  way
• Our positive relationship with EPA gave us the
  confidence to engage OSHA
