which supports system-wide accountability,
systems requirements, standards-based curriculum,
instruction and student support. Primary
responsibility to meet the requirements for
state and federal mandates

  • This section provides leadership and research
    through the development of standards-based
    curriculum, assessment and instructional
    tools/resources that support literacy and
    innovations in content areas
  • Assesses, analyzes, evaluates and addresses the
    needs of students, complex areas, complexes, and
    schools in relation to the effective
    implementation of the Hawaii Content and
    Performance Standards
  • Researches and develops tools to support
    instructional programs to meet the needs of
    students and teachers in the various curricular
    areas
