The Need

• Adequate facilities for young people.

  and community groups.

• To increase participation in sport or exercise.
• To provide a range of outdoor activities.
• To develop initiatives and activities for people
  with mental and physical health issues.
• To provide a home for the Blaby District Arts
  Festival.

  for community arts events, amateur or touring
  groups.
• To provide meeting and consultation rooms for
  community, voluntary sector, advice and support
  groups.

• By re-developing the Huncote Leisure Centre to
  create a hub which
• brings together sports, leisure, community and
  voluntary sector workers.

• Made the centre accessible for the disabled
