• Every student at LCC has an advisor to help him
  or her decide which classes to take.
• Counseling Services offers one-on-one help coping
  with relationships, personal problems, and other
  barriers to success.
• To see an advisor or counselor, call 483-1904 or
  go to the GVT Center, room 2300 to make an
  appointment.

• The WRC offers help with back-to-school
  workshops, individual support for life
  transitions, support groups, referrals to
  community agencies, and financial help, including
  child care awards.
• Help is available for women and men in the WRC.

Student Services Library

• A beautiful and quiet place to study! The
  Library has group study rooms and many tables for
  students to use.
• Librarians offer help with research projects.
• Find an easy book to read in the Easy Reading
  Browsing (ERB) collection!
• Find music CDs or movies to check out!
• Go to the Technology and Learning Center (TLC),
  room 201.

Student ServicesComputer Lab

• There are 160 computers for students to use.
• Computer Lab staff can help solve problems you
  have with the computers.
• Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, except
  between Friday 1100pm and Saturday 700am.

Student Services Tutoring Services

• Bilingual Tutors help ESL students study grammar
  and answer specific questions about English.
• Students must sign up at the beginning of the
  semester and agree to meet with a tutor one hour
  each week during the semester. See your teacher
  or go to AS, room 253 to request a tutor.
• Tutoring is FREE!
• Tutoring is also available in Tutoring Services,
  Arts Sciences (AS) Building, room 103.

• The Learning Center offers a place to work on
  listening skills, pronunciation, reading, and
  grammar with books, cassettes tapes, and computer
  programs.
• Ask your teacher for advice on which materials to
  work with.
• Go to Arts Science Building, room 253.

• The Writing Center offers one-on-one help with
  written assignments.
• Tutors are trained to help students improve their
  written work at any stage of the writing process
  getting started writing a draft, revising a
  draft, and editing to make final improvements.
• Tutors will not write a paper for you!
• Go to the Arts Sciences Building, room 251.

Resource Center (ARC)

• Offers tutoring in chemistry, physics, life
  sciences, social science, math and foreign
  languages (Spanish, German, Japanese, etc.)
• No appointment is necessary.
• Computers, course-specific software, lab
  equipment, and areas for individual or group
  study.
• Go to Arts Sciences, room 455

• LCC offers a modern fitness center and trained
  teachers to help you meet your fitness goals.
• You must sign up for one of the fitness classes,
  PFFT 100-103, to use the Fitness Lab.
• Go to the Gannon Vocational-Technical Center,
  room 2900 to see the lab.
• See your advisor or counselor to register for a
  fitness class.
