17Data (Mobile Media) Notes
- For National Data Plans, at least 50 of your
included usage must be on the Edge Wireless Data
Network in each billing cycle or we may terminate
your data service. - All Data Plans are separate from voice plans
as it relates to what the University will

Department Chair to see if you qualify to receive
a subsidy for you Mobile Media Program.

- You will receive two bills up front. One will be
your current TDMA bill to date and the other will
be a prorated version of your new GSM bill. - Please remember roaming and long distance charges

- Insurance-4.99 Must be added at time of
conversion. Can not be added after new equipment
leaves the location. A 35.00 deductible will
apply to replacement equipment. - Any BYU-I Employee is entitled to a 20 discount
on other Edge Wireless plans or offerings.
28Other
- Due to the nature of the technology change,
Voicemail will be removed and re-added to all
phone numbers. Any voicemails currently being
saved on your phone will be deleted. Please clear
all voicemails before coming to convert your
account. - A text message will be sent to your phones
reminding you of your day to convert your account.
29Where do we go from here?
- Please pick up a phone transfer sheet before you
leave. - Fill these sheets out and bring them with you to
the Change-Over day that is designated for you. - Change-Over will begin on 6/26 and continue thru
6/30. Distribution will be at Stores and
Receiving. (525 S. Center) - You will be contacted as to which of these days
you are to pick up your new phone and any new
accessories you want to purchase with it. - Your old phone will de-activate and your new
phone will activate within a 48 hour period. (You
will not be without service.) - If phone is not active within 48 hour period
bring it back to the pick up location. (Stores
and Receiving)
