Blitzkrieg

• In World War II most victories were achieved with
  the Blitzkrieg tactic.
• Blitzkrieg (lightening war) gets its name from
  rapid advances into enemy terrain.
• The surprise attacks associated with this tactic
  are made possible by the unknown coordinated air
  attacks.

Hitlers Blitzkrieg

• Hitler sent spies and saboteurs into the area to
  map out and mark any major intersections and
  storehouses.
• Airplanes were then sent into the area and bombed
  bridges and other key points to create chaos.
• Tanks going 40 mph then rolled into peoples
  backyards across the city.

Hitlers Blitzkrieg

• Then troops come quickly into the city to wipe
  out any soldiers or other threats.
• Finally comes the occupation with either special
  forces officers or just regular police, to
  capture and kill any threats.
• Using this same tactic Adolf Hitler took control
  of Poland in almost four weeks.

Scorched Earth

• This tactic is very simple and was adopted by the
  Germans for this reason.
• Destroy any facility that may become useful to
  the enemy.
• The only drawback to this tactic is when the time
  to occupy come the land will still be worthless
  to the beholder.
