Asset Management Status Attachment R

• Attachment R completed and drafts for DOCOTR
  submitted to sites October 28
• Q16 summary
• PC desktops meet or exceed rating standards, with
  the exception of the SE2 PC
• Lightweight laptop is below the rating standard,
  but is highest available on the survey
• Apple Desktop line-up changed by Apple
• 100 machine is the iMAC 800 MHz
• ODIN proposed the Dual 867 MHz as an alternative
  for GP2/SE1 seats. System is at Alterion test
  and certification scores expected 11/2
• Apple Laptop line-up also changed since the
  market survey
• Changed mid-October now shipping 867 MHz rather
  than the 800 MHz
• Q16 starts December 13, 2002

Asset Management Provance? Status

• Provance? 3.2 Maintenance Release M05
• Installation of M05 plus QR23 on our Production
  system was completed on September 8
• Summary of 3.2/M05
• Approval Workflow capability
• Reports available through the Web
• History Data available through the Web
• Improved Search capability
• We are at QR31 patch level currently
• Transition to Delivery Order Year-3
• Completed except for Ames, December 1
• Transition to Delivery Order 2 for Goddard
• Most of this work has been completed
• We are still providing support

Asset Management ODIN Catalog Status

• List of enhancements for ACS-11 was compiled
  through feedback from the Catalog CCB
• Highlights are as follows
• Monthly updates for Technical Notes and Graphics
• Site-specific tech notes will be able to be added
• Streamlined New Product Request process
• More fields visible on the Pending Product
  Requests screen
• Online ECN Validation
• Will be able to search for ECN by Last Name,
  First Name, Seat Type, Org, etc.
• Will be able to see details of the seat after
  search is performed
• Vendor is developing the product and we are
  awaiting an announcement on a delivery date for
  the beta version

IntelliCenter Status

• Remedy Automation
• Automated interface, via email, between our
  Remedy implementation and the IFM/Marshall
  implementation is complete
• Implemented redesign for improved problem
  recording, resolution, and closure processes on
  November 1. Conducted Web-ex session to
  demonstrate new resolved/closed process in
  Remedy. Good turn out from site support teams
  enabled smooth implementation
• Implemented a new Asset Details page/tab on the
  trouble ticket form that provides detailed
  hardware and software details, which is captured
  via Asset Insight, for the specified asset
• Improve Overall Help Desk Operation and
  Efficiency
• Completed strategy for handling GRC IFM calls,
  began handling calls Oct 21st
• Establishing the capability for VPN
  administration _at_ LaRC. Agent training complete,
  tokens acquired, waiting for final approval from
  site of services to be provided
• Refreshed agent machines to increase speed of
  information retrieval and processing
