Ephesians 21-3

• And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in
  which you once walked, following the course of
  this world, following the prince of the power of
  the air, the spirit that is now at work in the
  sons of disobedience 3 among whom we all once
  lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out
  the desires of the body and the mind, and were by
  nature children of wrath, like the rest of
  mankind.

Ephesians 212

• remember that you were at that time separated
  from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of
  Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise,
  having no hope and without God in the world.

• Sometimes its not our fault, still lost.

2 Thessalonians 16-8

• since indeed God considers it just to repay with
  affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to grant
  relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us,
  when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with
  his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting
  vengeance on those who do not know God and on

  backsometimes we must come to our own senses and
  be humbled.

• One can be lost even though he was saved at one
  time.
• When a soul is rescued it is always a time for
  rejoicing.

James 519-20

• My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the
  truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him
  know that whoever brings back a sinner from his
  wandering will save his soul from death and will
  cover a multitude of sins.

What is the Point?

• For ourselves?
• Come to Christ and come out of a lost condition
• Beware the danger of turning back to the world
• (make use of the tools that we are given such as
  study, prayer, worship, love, giving,
  encouragement, uplifting, etc.)
• For others?
• Dont be passive while others are LOST.

Galatians 69

• And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in
  due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
