Purpose

• Accelerometer data will be used to determine the
  payloads vibration environment, the payload spin
  rate, and the magnitude of external forces
  applied to the payload.

Circuit Description

• Analog Devices ADXL250, ADXL150, and ADXL105
  acceleration sensor chips produce an output
  voltage that is proportional to the acceleration
  of the sensor.
• The physical orientation of the sensor determines
  what type (or which axis) of acceleration is
  measured.
• Longitudinal, tangential, radial, X, and Y
  accelerations will be measured on the SRP-4
  mission.
• Sensor output gain and setpoint adjustments are
  provide by op-amp circuits.
