• Research Areas include
• Medical Shape Databases and Web Applications
• The research focuses on shape spaces, 3D
  image/shape retrieval and web applications with
  regard to PACS (Picture Archiving and
  Communication System).
• Virtual Colonoscopy (CTC)
• Our research on CTC aims detecting precursors
  of colon cancer for early diagnosis.
• Multi-Modality Registration and Segmentation
• The project involves development of a MRI-CT
  registration and segmentation application for
  the medical analysis.

• RCIs Radiologist-Computer Interfaces
• The project aims at developing innovative and
  intuitive user-interfaces. involving the design
  and the development of software interfaces for
  radiology and user interaction tools such as
  haptic devices, stereo tracking, etc.
• Tensor Analysis and Visualization
• The project involves development of a
  visualization and analysis application for human
  brain connectivity analysis and fiber
  tractography.

• The students will be in active collaboration,
  including exchange programmes, with research
