Senol Taskin believes that one of the many
reasons why he has experienced so much success
during his career as a financial journalist is
that he is his own best critic. He is able to
remove himself from the pieces that he writes and
look at them with a clean slate, which allows him
to see what works and what doesnt.

Senol Taskin African Economy
During more than 20 years working as a financial
journalist, Senol Taskin has taken a particular
interest in the developing African economy. He
has written numerous articles on the subject,
including his first published piece. Since 1991,
he has travelled to a number of countries on the
African continent in order to research his pieces
and always finds that the experience is both
interesting and invigorating.

Senol Taskin Becoming an Author
After spending so much of his life working as a
financial journalist, Senol Taskin is not taking
his first steps towards becoming a published
author. He aims to use his depth of knowledge and
broad experiences to shine a new light on the
field and hopefully help other prospective
journalists when it comes to their reporting and
the way they conduct research.

Senol Taskin finished his college career with
degrees in both Finance and Journalism, which set
him up perfectly for his career as a freelance
financial journalist. Since publishing his first
article in 1991, he has spent much of his time
travelling around the world in pursuit of his
next story, spending a particularly large amount
of time on the African continent.
