Red Chilli Whole
Red Chillies are known as Mirchi in India . There
are more than 400 different varieties of chillies
found all over the world. The world's hottest
chilli "Naga Jolokia" " Bhoot Jalokia" is
cultivated in hilly terrain of Assam in a small
town Tezpur in India.

Coriander is used in Indian curries, gin,

Chinese parsley, cilantro. The commonest use of
coriander is in curry powders, where it is the
bulkiest constituent. The seeds can be used in
stews and soups. Coriander is an ingredient of
garam masala, pickling spices and is used in
cakes, breads and other baked foods.

Indian Fenugreek
The herb is a characteristic ingredient in some
curries and chutneys and the fenugreek extract is
used to make imitation maple syrup. Because of
its high nutritive contents, it is an important
ingredient in vegetable and dhal dishes eaten in
India. In India, young fenugreek plants are used
as a pot herb.

civilization.

spice is originally from Eastern Africa, but now
is being cultivated all over the tropics and is a
much-valued food ingredient in many Asian or
Latin American recipes. The fruit of a tropical
tree, tamarind is an indispensable spice in most
south Indian kitchens.

Turmeric or Curcuma Longa is a rhizomatous
herbaceous perennial plant of the ginger family,
Turmeric comes from the root of the Curcuma Longa
plant and has a tough brown skin and a deep
orange flesh.
