1
Types of Cancer Screenings for Women
2
  • With some of the best opportunities for body
screening in Dubai, there is no reason not to
take advantage of this opportunity and steer
yourself to better health. Healthy women too need
to have a health check once in a while just to
reassure themselves that they have nothing to
worry or to detect a new health issue in its
    early stages.

3
Blood Pressure Screening
  • This is recommended for all women. Tests should
be done every 2 years. If you have high blood
pressure often then test should be done every
year. High blood pressure could lead to heart
attacks, therefore, see a doctor if your blood
pressure is above 140/90 to discuss treatment
    options.

4
Bone Mineral Density or Osteoporosis Screening
  • Women between the ages of 50 64 should have
this screening to make sure they are not at risk
for osteoporosis. Some of the risks include
postmenopausal, thin frame, diet low in calcium,
smoking, physical inactivity, and heavy alcohol
consumption. Women over 65 should have themselves
tested often to make sure they dont suffer from
    Osteoporosis.

5
Breast Cancer Screening
  • Women under the age of 50 should discuss a Cancer
Screening in Dubai  with their physician. Cancer
screening should be done at least every 2 years
    for women over 50 years.

6
Cervical Cancer Screening
  • If you are over 30 years you need to have a PAP
smear and HPV test at 5 year intervals.

7
High Cholesterol Screening
  • From the age of 25 years women should have their
cholesterol tested at least once a year. High
cholesterol levels lead to heart diseases which
is a big problem for many women and a leading
    cause of death.

8
Diabetes Screening
  • Women with a family history of diabetes should
have screenings regularly from age 45. Women
suffering from high blood pressure should have a
regular screening even before reaching 45.
