1. COST FOR COMMUTERS

• Urbanization has resulted to too many people
  using transport to fulfil their daily activities
  of their lives.
• Many South Africans spend a quarter of their
  income into paying their transport every month.
• A rise of transport cost will have a greater
  impact on people who spend a large part of their
  income on transport.
• Cheap transport is very slow while expensive
  transport is very fast and safe.

2. POLLUTION

• We have seen that exhaust fumes from motor
  vehicles contribute a lot to air pollution.
• Car exhaust produce Carbon monoxide and Sulphur
  dioxide to the atmosphere.
• Carbon monoxide Sulphur dioxide can cause
  diseases.

3. TRAFFIC CONGESTION

• Known as traffic jam
• Having too many cars on the road
• Insufficient traffic systems that slows down the
  flow of traffic
• Lead to people getting delayed to their
  destinations
• Leads to road accidents

SOLUTION

• 2. TRAFFIC CIRCLES
• Traffic circles prevent cars from coming to
  complete stop as they do at traffic lights. They
  help to maintain a steady flow of traffic.
