a normal part of aging. Sleep is an important
part of your physical and emotional health. If
your elderly are unable to get good sleep, it may
be something you need to pay attention to. Below

seniors

watching TV until late at night? Or are your
neighbors playing loud music at night? These can
be a disturbing element that disturbs your sleep.

    comfortable, dark and quiet.

PAIN OR HEALTH CONDITIONS
Aging can lead to several health problems
like frequent need to urinate, pain, diabetes,
osteoporosis, arthritis, asthma, nighttime
heartburn, and in some cases Alzheimers disease.

any medical issues you are having.

Menopause and post menopause
  • For women, it is common to suffer from hot
flashes and night sweats, which can really
interrupt sleep. Even post menopause, sleep
problems can continue. Improving your daytime
habits, like diet and exercise can help with
    these issues.

POOR SLEEP HABITS
One of the major reasons behind irregular
sleep can be consumption of alcohol before
bedtime. Alcohol is never good for your health.
And now when you know it hampers your sleep too,
it is better to avoid it as much as possible.

Stress
  • There are significant life changes in old
age. Some of them include retirement, the death
of a loved one or moving from a family home. All
these are enough to cause stress. Nothing
improves you stress better than spending some
    quality time with loved ones.

A good nights sleep is important for seniors.
While it helps improve memory formation, it
allows the body to repair any cell damage that
