Weather
  • Singapore is a tropical country and tends to be
    hot.
  • The temperature can exceed 30 C.
  • No need to carry a thick jacket or winter scarf,
because Singapore has almost exactly the same
weather as Indonesia. You also have to be ready
for umbrella because rain can wash Singapore at
    any time.

Socket (Power Plug)
  • Anyone needs electricity to meet the needs of
electronic goods. Unlike the standard socket in
Indonesia which provides a two-leg cylindrical

  • Singapore provides a three-foot square socket.
  • You can bring a universal adapter to adjust the
    power plug.

Drinking Water Faucet
  • You can drink water directly from the water tap
provided in several places in Singapore known as
    Tap Water.
  • Water here has passed WHO standards, so there is
no need to worry about drinking it.
  • Can bring your own bottle every time you go for a
walk, and fill it in a water tap.
  • Usually, this free drinking water place is
located in tourist attractions and adjacent to
    the toilet.

  • Planning to surround Singapore with public
    transportation?
  • You should buy a Singapore Tourist Pass that you
can get at the Changi Airport, MRT Station.
  • e-money that you usually use in Indonesia, you
can use this Tourist Pass for MRT, LRT or Bus.

9
Escalator
  • When you are at the Airport or MRT Station, there
are special rules that are not written that you
    must know
  •  You must stand on the left side of the escalator
    to go up or down.
  • Unless, you are in a hurry to chase time, you are
not allowed to use the right-sided escalator.
  • You can run up or down the escalator on the right
without disturbing others standing on the left
    side of the escalator.
