Cream of Pumpkin and Potato SoupAge group 6-12
months
  • Ingredients
  • Spray oil
  • chopped onion - ½ small (40g)
  • Peeled and chopped butternut pumpkin - 250g
  • Peeled and chopped potato - 1 small (120g)
  • Preparation
  • Heat saucepan over medium heat
  • Spray with oil
  • Add onion, after 2 minutes add pumpkin , potato
    and water
  • Cook for 10 minutes
  • Serve

  • Ingredients
  • Chopped boneless fish fillets- 100g
  • Frozen peas - ¼ cup (30g)
  • Chopped carrot - ½ small (35g)
  • Finely grated cheddar cheese - 2 tbsp

    in a small saucepan

  • Oat - ¼ cup (20g)
  • Milk - ½ cup (125mL)
  • Finely chopped banana - ½ medium (100g)
  • Finely chopped dates - 2 tbsp

  • Over high heat Place oats, milk, banana and dates
    in a small saucepan
  • Mix and boil for 5 minutes
  • Serve after cool.

  • Egg yolk - 1
  • Corn flour - ½ tbsp
  • Milk - ¾ cup (190mL)
  • Vanilla essence - ¼ tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Stewed Fruits
  • Preparation
  • Mix egg yolk ,corn flour milk to form a smooth
    paste.
  • Gradually add vanilla and sugar.
  • Place over a medium-low heat and boil
  • Serve after cool with Stewed Fruits

  • Ingredients
  • Couscous - 1½ tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Peeled, cored and grated apple - ½ medium
  • Seeded and chopped dates - 3 dried
  • Milk - ¾ cup (190mL)
  • Preparation
  • Place couscous, sugar, apple, dates and milk in a
    small saucepan over medium heat
  • Boil for 10 minutes
  • Serve after cool

  • Ingredients
  • Milk - 200mL
  • Apple puree - 140g
  • Hot water - 2 tbsp
  • Gelatine powder - ½ tsp
  • Preparation
  • Combine milk and apple puree
  • Sprinkle water over gelatine and whisk with a
    fork to dissolve gelatine
  • Pour gelatine over apple mixture, mixing well.
  • Refrigerate until set.

  • Short grain rice - ¼ cup (50g)
  • Milk - 300mL
  • Peeled and grated pear - 1 small (180g)
  • Preparation
  • Place rice, milk and pear in a medium saucepan
    over high heat
  • Mix and boil for 12 minutes or until the mixture
    become creamy
  • Serve after cool.
