What is an Addiction and Its treatment?
  • An addiction is a chronic dysfunction of the
brain system that involves reward, motivation,
and memory. Its about the way your body craves a
substance or behavior, especially if it causes a
compulsive or obsessive pursuit of reward and
    lack of concern over consequences.
  • Treating Addiction Addiction treatment is the
first step to take when getting sober. The
journey to recovery is lifelong because substance
abuse is a chronic condition. The good news is
that you will learn the correct tools and coping
mechanisms in treatment to battle your chronic
illness. Being sober may feel like a way of life
for a while, but in time, it will feel more
    normal and natural.

PARTIAL DAY
  • A partial day program is a partial
hospitalization program (PHP). Clients that have
completed detox and a residential treatment for
substance use can benefit from a structured level
of step-down support as they transition to a more
independent lifestyle. In our PHP, you will
develop a support system within the community and
begin looking for employment while also having
the structured environment that is needed for
    early recovery.

Intensive Outpatient
  • Intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a primary
treatment program that is intensive by nature but
geared towards the individual that is stepping
down from higher levels of acute care. IOP is for
those individuals that do not need medically
supervised detox. Intensive outpatient care can
also help those in recovery to continue their
therapy that follows detox, in a partial time
    development process, especially geared towards
those who are well enough to work and take care
of family issues but still need accountability in
    their life.
  • WHAT TO
    EXPECT
  • It is typically three to five days a week and up
to three hours a day. Our OP is designed for a
client that has developed a recovery program, and
has established a relapse prevention plan, built
a support system and is ready for a program that
has less structured days as PHP. Clients in an
intensive outpatient program at Dream Recovery
will have a clinical team that consists of a
Therapist and Case Manager, and weekly sessions
    and participate in group sessions.

Outpatient
  • Outpatient Program (OP) is designed to give our
client the necessary aftercare structure needed
to maintain accountability of their previous
treatment. Dream Recoverys OP Program allows the
client more time for working on their career
development, their personal recovery program, and
owning the structure for life after treatment.
  • What
    to expect
  • At Dream Recovery is for individuals that do not
need the structure of a full or half day program,
but still need the accountability of a program
and meeting with a therapist weekly. Outpatient
programing is three hours a week.
