What are post-adoption problems?

Can there be poor consequences post-adoption?

• The lack of medical or social history makes it
  difficult for adoptees and their children to
  diagnose health problems. 
• They do not know where they inherited some
  inherited physical or personality traits. 
• No answer as to why they were adopted. 
• There is almost no information about their
  biological family. If the adoptee wants to
  contact them when they are adults, it is not easy
  to find their biological family. 
• A complex emotional reunion with the biological
  family, if they can find their biological family.

How to cope with post-adoption?

• Families generally need post-adoption counseling
