2- Numbness in hands or fingers is one of the most
common complaints among people with neuropathy.
It can happen due to many reasons, including
diabetes, nerve disorders, exposure to cold and
pressure, injury or trauma. However, it is
important to note that numbness in hands can also
be a symptom of other conditions and not just
neuropathy. Numbness in hands can also be a
symptom of some other disorders like carpal
tunnel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and
peripheral vascular disease. - What are the symptoms?
- Symptoms of numbness in hands or fingers can
include - Sensation of tingling and burning in the hands
and fingers - Difficulty using the hand or wrist
- Pain in the hand, wrist and/or forearm
- Tingling, weakness and stiffness of the muscles
in the hand and fingers
3If numbness in your hands has been caused by
nerve damage, then the best way to treat it is to
have surgery on the nerves. Nerve surgery aims at
fixing the damaged nerves and restoring a normal
functioning of those nerves. If you have just
experienced a minor injury or are not sure
