Brush Twice A Day - PowerPoint PPT Presentation

About This Presentation
Title:

Brush Twice A Day

Description:

The amount of times you should brush your teeth per day is 2 times. You should aim to brush your teeth for at least 2-4 minutes each time. Plaque soon gathers up in between and on the surface of the teeth. If you do not brush your teeth for a while they will turn yellow and your teeth could start to erode. If they erode you will have to have fillings. Also when you don't brush your teeth for a while your breath will start to smell. With your toothbrush you should brush all around your mouth and open it wide so you can brush the back teeth. If you want to get remaining plaque away use some good mouthwash. You can use salt water to rinse out your mouth, it is equally just as good as mouthwash but you must not swallow it (spit it out). – PowerPoint PPT presentation

Title: Brush Twice A Day

1
BRUSH TWICE
A DAY
2
Introduction
  • Maintaining good oral hygiene is essential, and
brushing your teeth twice a day is key. Aim for
2-4 minutes each session to remove plaque and
prevent tooth decay. Neglecting to brush can lead
to yellowing, erosion, and bad breath.

3
Discovering Five Reasons for Brushing Twice Daily
4
To maintain fresh breath, it's vital to combat
bacteria buildup by brushing your teeth twice
daily. Additionally, chewing sugar-free gum after
meals helps prevent bacterial growth and promotes
oral hygiene.

Regular brushing prevents gum disease by
inhibiting plaque buildup on teeth. Plaque, a mix
of bacteria and food, can lead to Gingivitisa
yellowish lining at the tooth base, causing gum
inflammation and bleeding.

5
  • Eliminates Teeth Stains Toothpaste features
gentle abrasives like calcium carbonate, aluminum
oxides, dehydrated silica gels, and hydrated
phosphate salts to effectively remove debris and
    surface stains.
  • Reduces the Risk of Heart Attack or Stroke
Accumulation of bacteria in the oral cavity can
travel into the bloodstream, promoting the
    accumulation of cholesterol in arteries.
    Consequently, this elevation in cholesterol
levels heightens the risk of experiencing a
    stroke or heart attack.

6
Reduce Dementia Risk Studies suggest that poor
gum health increases the chance of developing
dementia by 30 to 40.
  • Just three minutes of brushing, twice daily, can
be a lifesaver, preventing various serious
diseases! For more tips on maintaining optimal
