What are the algorithms of Google
Google algorithms are the rules that Google uses to rank websites in search results. Google's complex system retrieves data from pages, seeks to understand what searchers are looking for, and ranks pages according to relevance and quality. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) involves optimizing your website to improve its visibility and ranking on search engines like Google.

answers to such long-tail keywords. It enabled
users to ask questions and get appropriate
answers.

closer ties between local and core algorithms so
that people could find useful and accurate

September 2014. Google said it would help the

update (Penguin 2.1).
