Summary

• BD, in a non-commercial capacity, is working with
  NGOs and governments to strengthen laboratories
  as an implementing partner with PEPFAR.
• Over 100 healthcare workers from several African
  countries have benefited from this program in 9
  months.
• Metrics-based results with positive feedback from
  US State Dept and CDC has prompted a Best
  Practices case study to be published.
• Additional planning, training, and follow-up
  continues to be underway.
