  • Read the newsletter (Kindergarten Scoop)sent
    home each Friday.
  • Check out our website
  • Home - Mrs. Sutter's Kindergarten Class
  • Attend conferencessign up sheets in hallway
  • Volunteer for centers, parties, field trips
  • Go through your childs folder/backpack and
    return each day (or Monday for ½ day)
  • Talk to your child about his/her day! ?

Your child is becoming more independent! ?
  • Please allow your child to walk him or herself to
    the Kindergarten classroom and hang up his or her
    own book bag.

Kindergarten Curriculum
  • See brochure for specific content and skills your
    child should know by the END of Kindergarten. ?
  • Differentiation/individualized instruction
  • Reading/language arts are the bulk of our day.

  • Science and social studies are integrated (and
    during project time for full-day students).

A few reminders. . .
  • Please have your child wear tennis shoes on P.E.
    daysTues/Thurs. for ½ day.
  • Library books will be due every Friday.
  • ½ day--please send a small, healthy, peanut-free
    snack with your child every day. Popcorn days
    are Wednesdays (.25).
  • Book orders will be coming home soon. We will
    send home each month.

  • Please feel free to contact your childs teacher
    with any questions or concerns.
  • Send a note with your child in his/her folder
